Consumer and e-commerce law
Consumer protection is where product design meets the law most visibly. Pricing displays, checkout flows, cancellation buttons and review systems are all regulated, and enforcement by the ACM and consumer organisations is active. I review flows and terms so they convert and comply.

Frequently asked
Do Dutch rules differ from the EU baseline?
Yes in places, for example on silent renewal of subscriptions and specific ACM guidance on online influencing. I apply both.
Can you review a live flow rather than documents?
Yes. A screen-by-screen review of the actual customer journey is usually the most useful format.
Does this overlap with the DSA?
For marketplaces, yes: trader traceability and interface design duties sit in both regimes.
Have a regulatory question?
Send a short description of the matter. I reply within one working day, usually with a view on scope and a fixed fee where possible.
