An EU regulatory adviser for companies building with data
Reglattice helps technology-driven companies meet European law with one coherent framework, instead of eight separate rulebooks. Privacy, AI, platforms, finance, consumers, contracts and talent mobility, advised together by one senior adviser.

Eight areas of work, one adviser
Regulations overlap. A single AI feature can raise AI Act, GDPR, consumer-law and contract questions at once. I advise across them so your teams get one answer, not four.
AI governance & EU AI Act
Readiness for the AI Act, AI risk classification, policies and governance that engineering teams can run.
Explore 02Privacy & GDPR
Practical GDPR compliance: DPIAs, transfers, records, vendor terms and interim privacy or DPO support.
Explore 03Technology & commercial contracts
SaaS, procurement, licensing, data and AI terms that reflect how technology actually flows.
Explore 04Platform & digital services regulation
Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act and platform-to-business rules for marketplaces, apps and intermediaries.
Explore 05Financial sector & fintech compliance
DORA, outsourcing, AML/Wwft, MiCA and payments rules for fintechs and technology suppliers to financial institutions.
Explore 06Consumer & e-commerce law
Fair terms, pricing and marketing rules, dark patterns, subscriptions and cross-border selling in the EU.
Explore 07EU digital regulation & cyber compliance
NIS2, the Data Act, the Cyber Resilience Act and the wider EU digital rulebook, mapped to your product and supply chain.
Explore 08Business immigration & global mobility
Highly skilled migrant permits, EU Blue Card, recognised sponsorship and mobility policies for tech employers.

In more detail
Open an area to see how I usually approach it.
01AI governance & EU AI Act+
The EU AI Act applies in phases from 2025 and attaches obligations to roles: providers, deployers, importers and distributors. Most companies are several of these at once. I help you work out where you stand, what is actually required, and how to meet it without slowing product work.
02Privacy & GDPR+
Eight years into the GDPR, the hard part is no longer knowing the rules. It is making them work inside products, vendor stacks and growth plans. I give privacy advice that engineering and marketing teams can act on, and I can run the function on an interim basis.
03Technology & commercial contracts+
Good technology contracts describe what the systems really do and who carries the risk when they fail. I draft, review and negotiate agreements for buyers and sellers of technology, with the regulatory layer built in rather than bolted on.
04Platform & digital services regulation+
If you host user content, run a marketplace, rank offers or sell ads, the Digital Services Act and related rules shape how your product must behave. I translate those obligations into product requirements and governance your teams can ship.
05Financial sector & fintech compliance+
Financial institutions push their regulatory obligations down the supply chain. Fintechs and technology vendors that serve them need to speak that language: operational resilience, outsourcing, AML and conduct rules. I help technology-driven companies meet those expectations and get through institutional due diligence.
06Consumer & e-commerce law+
Consumer protection is where product design meets the law most visibly. Pricing displays, checkout flows, cancellation buttons and review systems are all regulated, and enforcement by the ACM and consumer organisations is active. I review flows and terms so they convert and comply.
07EU digital regulation & cyber compliance+
Beyond the GDPR and the AI Act, a second wave of EU rules governs data access, product cybersecurity and operational resilience. Most companies are in scope of at least one. I map which rules apply to which products and build one compliance structure rather than several.
08Business immigration & global mobility+
Technology companies compete for talent across borders, and the Dutch system rewards employers who know it well. I advise employers and founders on bringing people to the Netherlands lawfully and quickly, and on the policies that keep sponsorship status safe.

Notes from practice
Five questions to answer before you ship an AI feature in the EU
Most AI launch problems are not about the model. They come from not knowing which rules apply to which role. These five questions settle that early.
KAKhizar Ahmad · 2026-10-15Privacy & GDPRWhat a DPIA for an AI feature should actually contain
Standard DPIA templates were written for databases, not models. These are the sections that make an AI DPIA useful to engineers and defensible to regulators.

Send a short description of the matter. I reply within one working day, usually with a view on scope and a fixed fee where possible.
