This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, embedded fonts, scripts or content from third parties. The hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address in server logs for security and operation of the server, on the basis of its legitimate interest, and deletes those logs within its standard retention period.
When you email me
If you contact me, I process your name, contact details and the content of your message to respond to you and, where relevant, to assess and perform an engagement (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Correspondence is retained for as long as needed for the matter and thereafter as required by professional and tax record-keeping obligations, generally seven years for engagement records.
Client engagements
Personal data received in the course of an engagement is processed only for that engagement, under confidentiality, and is covered by the engagement terms and, where I act as processor, a data processing agreement.
Recipients and transfers
Email and document storage are provided by EU-based providers under data processing agreements. Personal data is not transferred outside the EEA unless a valid transfer mechanism applies.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by emailing the address above. You can lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
